We’re a consultancy business dedicated to improving the quality of care services.
Arbitrium Consultancy was established in 2020 by Natalie Dugdale, our Managing Director. Natalie has been privileged to work within the health & social care industry for over 30 years. She has a clinical background, after qualifying as a Registered Adult Nurse in 1995, and still holds registration with the NMC.
Natalie is extremely passionate about providing and supporting excellent care. Her clinical background, along with her compliance and regulatory knowledge has played a pivotal part in supporting care providers to achieve their business goals.
What we do
Arbitrium Consultancy provides both interim management and consultancy expertise across the social care sector in England. We offer a range of services, including mock inspections, turnaround, and management solutions for your care business.

Interim Management
Maintain your service compliance – Our consultants will undertake an audit of specific aspects of your service and provide verbal feedback and a short report. We offer mock inspections using the same methodology as the regulator. Following an onsite inspection, a comprehensive report will be provided to the service. The duration of inspections does depend on the size of the service. It is recommended that these audits are completed 3 monthly but can be done as a one-off too.

Investigations
Whether you require support with managing an incident or a Section 42 Safeguarding, we can provide an investigating officer who will complete this process for you.
Mystery Shopping
If you would like to know how your team are performing or whether the management of enquiries is effectively supporting occupancy or growth, we offer either face to face or telephone Mystery Shopping solutions.
Business Development

Commissioning
Are you opening a new care home and need to build your occupancy, or do you have an existing service and looking to commission some extra beds? Let our Consultants support you with this as they have many years of commissioning experience.
Turnaround
If you have had a recent inspection that has resulted in areas of non-compliance or has breached regulation, we can offer turnaround support to your team from our experienced Consultants. They will complete a service improvement action plan and work closely with your team to meet outstanding identified actions.
Acquisitions
If you are looking to grow and acquire a new business our Consultants can support you with the due diligence process around care delivery and operational management, providing an independent business appraisal.
